Got a new book called The Happiness Project: or why i spent a year trying to sing in the morning, clean my closets, fight right, read Aristotle, and generally have more fun by Gretchen Rubin. The author decides to take on a year-long “project” of improving her happiness quotient. It’s not that she isn’t happy already – but that she knows she could be happier…if only….
So far I’m only about a third of the way through the book, but I already feel like it’s a “how to choose and stick to your New Year’s resolutions” guide more so that any sort of motivational or compelling read. It’s touted as a #1 New York Times Bestseller, so I’m going to trudge on through it – but it needs to take a turn towards an epiphany soon!
